▷Our "tagless" thermal transfer labels are perfect for sportswear or t-shirt neck labels. They do not itch on the skin and are easy to apply with a heat press or household iron.

Apply heat transfer labels in the right way

1. Place the paper or label the right way!

Contrary to some heat transfer papers commonly used for custom t-shirts, tagless heat transfer labels are transparent so you can see both sides of the design.

Therefore, there are no mistakes, just place the label design up and the backing backwards.

If your labelless label comes with a white surface, it must be placed upwards and the reverse design downwards.

Warning: If the adhesive side is heated directly or placed in the wrong way, it may stick to the press and be difficult to remove.

2. Set up your household iron or heat press the right way!

Whether using an iron or a heat press, the temperature must be set between 302 and 320ºF (150-160ºC). Warning. If the temperature is below this range, the label design will not transfer properly to the garment. Conversely, if the temperature is above the optimal range, the kraft backing may melt.

3. Correct press time!

Hot press: 8 seconds.

Household iron: 8-12 seconds

4. Peel off after heating.

There are two types of heat transfer labels: hot peel and cold peel, each of which differs from the other only in the way they must be peeled. On the one hand, the hot peel ones must be peeled off immediately before pressing, pulling quickly from one of the kraft back corners until it is completely removed. On the other hand, cold peel requires you to wait until the heat transfer label has cooled again. After that, you will be able to remove them quickly, securing the garment to remove the kraft film.
